GENE MA is a Managing Director and analyst on ISI's China Research Team.
Before joining ISI in 2008, Gene was the Chief Analyst at CEBM. Prior to this, Gene was the Chief Macro Analyst at Citic Securities, the largest securities firm in China. Gene also worked at the Ministry of Finance in Beijing. He taught at the University of Illinois, George Washington University, and Georgetown University.
He graduated from Peking University in Beijing in 1988 and received an MA from Cornell University in 1998.
