BRIAN BEDELL is a Managing Director and ISI's Trust Banks & Online Brokers Analyst on ISI's Financial Research Team. In addition, he assists Ed Najarian with his large-cap banks research. Brian was ranked #2 by the Financial Times/StarMine survey for stock picking in the capital markets sector in 2008. Prior to joining ISI in 2009, Brian spent 6 years at Merrill Lynch as a Senior Director and Vice President. He covered trust banks, online brokers, and exchanges, and assisted with large-cap bank coverage. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Brian worked at Salomon Smith Barney, J.P. Morgan, Sanford C. Bernstein, and OppenheimerFunds. Brian graduated from Stony Brook University in 1988, received an MBA from Indiana University in 1997, and is a CFA charterholder.
