BRIAN BEDELL is a Managing Director and is ISI’s Brokers, Trust Banks & Exchanges Analyst. Brian was ranked #3 at the Financial Times/StarMine Equity Analysts Awards for estimating earnings in the Capital Markets sector in 2011.

Prior to joining ISI in 2009, Brian spent 6 years at Merrill Lynch as a senior director and vice president and covered trust banks, online brokers, and exchanges, and assisted with large-cap bank coverage. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Brian was a research analyst at Salomon Smith Barney covering publicly traded asset managers and before that, worked at J.P. Morgan, Sanford C. Bernstein and OppenheimerFunds.

Brian graduated from Stony Brook University in 1988, received his MBA from Indiana University in 1997, and is a CFA charterholder.
