STEVE SAKWA is a Senior Managing Director and head of ISI’s Real Estate Research Team. He has been an Institutional Investor ranked REIT analyst for the past 9 years, and has been ranked #1 for 4 of the last 5 years.

Prior to joining ISI in 2009, Steve spent 13 years at Merrill Lynch, 9 years as a Managing Director, 9 years as a Senior US REITs Analyst, and 2 years as Global Property Coordinator. Prior to that, he spent 2 years at Morgan Stanley.

Steve graduated from the University of Michigan in 1989 and received his MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business in 1993.
