Global Demographics
ISI’s Global Demographics Research Team, headed by Dick Hokenson, recognizes that extraordinary demographic changes are occurring at an unprecedented rate. Past concerns about population explosion have now been overtaken by issues and concerns related to population implosion. Overlaying these unprecedented changes in the size and age composition of populations are equally dramatic shifts in the social mosaic. In the west, marriage rates are rising and divorce rates are falling. In the east, it is exactly the opposite.
